Carol Silver, 69, of 6th street, Emerson, Georgia, passed away Friday. October 24, 2014.
Mrs. Silver was born February 20. 1945, in Bartow County, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Lear Mae (Lanham) Grizzle, was a homemaker and a member of Center Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy Grizzle.
Surviving is her husband, Danny Silver of Emerson, four children: James Edward Lingerfelt of Kingston, Ralph Anthony Lingerfelt and his wife Tracey of Cartersville, Angela Silver Dover of Cartersville, and Dana Silver Dean and her husband Todd of Cartersville, also, nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Center Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Phillips and Rev. Dewy Atchley officiating. Burial will follow their service in Emerson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00- 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Blake Lingerfelt, Josh Lingerfelt, Bobby Lingerfelt, Justin Dover, Darrin Stepp, and Scott Edwards.
Owen Funeral Home of 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of handling the arrangements.
