Mrs. Shuler was a member of the Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church in Hutchinson.
Survivors include, four children, Max C. Shuler and wife Irmtraud, DiAnn M. Bussard and husband Max, and Ernest E. Shuler, all of Hutchinson, and Mark S. Shuler of Independence; a sister, Allene Hogan and husband LeRoy of Holyrood; two brothers, Harvey Heiken and wife Mary of Bartlesville, Okla., and Edward Heiken and wife Marjorie of Blaine, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Shuler; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Nancy Proffitt presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with family to receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Friday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel.
