Loretta Faye Shrewsbury McKinney, 48, of Kopperston, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007. Born November 10, 1958 at Coal City, she was the daughter of Fredrick Earl Shrewsbury and wife, Leona and Jaquline Saul.
Loretta enjoyed her church, she loved to cook, and spend time with her family. Loretta was of the Presbyterian Faith and was a member of the Kopperston Presbyterian Church. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Willie McKinney, Jr. of Kopperston; daughters, Cilena Lynn McKinney of Kopperston; Michele Ricco and husband, James of PA, Crystal Foley and husband, Wallace of NC, Tara Bailey and husband, Robbie of SC; son, Willie McKinney III of Kopperston; brother, Steven Shrewsbury and wife, Robin of SC; sister, Sharon Shrewsbury of PA; step-mother, Leona Shrewsbury; grandchildren, Autumn and Aundria Lambert, Ariana Ricco, Trevor, Jordon, Mikey Lanier, Hunter Moss, Arin Nichole McKinney; step-sister, Dianell Pack and husband, Ronald of Coal City; step-brother, Gary Mills of Coal City; nieces and nephews, Earl Caldwell and daughter, Mikayla, Jennie Caldwell and daughters, Brenna and Adriana, and Nikki and Nathan Shrewsbury; sisters-in-law, Paula Shrewsbury and companion, Joe Hornsby, Sue Billings and children, Keith Rosa, Wilkie Mason; brothers-in-law, S.P (Pat) McKinney and wife, Melissa and Kenny Peferson and wife, Anna.
Services will be 1:00PM Monday, February 12, 2007 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley with Rev. Lowell Black officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Pat McKinney, Willie McKinney III, Wilkie Mason Billings, James Ricco, Wallace Foley, Nathan Shrewsbury, Earl Caldwell, and Gary Mills will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may gather with the family from 6:00PM until 9:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley is in charge of the arrangements.
