Muriel married Walter Frank on on January 21, 1929, and the family moved to Patterson in 1939.

She was a bus driver for Patchett's for 33 years, and never had an accident during that time. In 1970 she was given an award for 100,000 accident-free miles.

She was survived by two sons, four daughters, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
