John Logan was the 2nd child and 1st son born to Andrew Harrison and Charlotta Jane (Bright) Shoulders. Since his stone says Logan that must be what he went by so I will call him Logan. He married Aida Abshire on 25 Mar.,1906 in Warrick Co.,In., but the information I have says that they divorced after 2 weeks. Later that same year he married Gerthie Elizabeth Phillips and the were the parents of 3 sons and 2 daughters: Ora A. b.21 May,1908; Ray Logan b. 21 Jun.,1910; Dorothy b. 1912; Raymond Andrew b. 29 Jun.,1913; and Grace b. 15 Jun.,1916.

6 years after the death of Gerthie, Logan married again to Nellie Marie Goad on 17 Dec.,1924 in Boonville, Warrick Co.,In. and they were the parents of 5 sons and 3 daughters: Logan b. 5 Sep.,1925; Alice "Jane" b. 31 Dec.,1926; Dorothy Rose b. 9 Nov.,1928; Living Son; Living Son; Franklin D. b. 22 Apr.,1935; and twin son and daughter b. 16 Jul.,1937. The twins lived only one day.

The information that I have says that Logan was a farmer. His funeral was handled by the Koehler Funeral Home of Boonville, In.

Logan and Gerthie's 1st son, Ora A. married Eva Mae Little and they are buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Clinton Co.,In.
