If Diogenes should come to Ogden with his lantern in search of an honest man it would not be long before he could turn down the wick and save his oil, for evidently there is one honest man in the city.

Miss Mabel Shorten, daughter of George Shorten, the sanitary inspector, attended a motion picture show last night and left her handbag upon a vacant seat when she left the theater. She did not miss the bag until this morning and after checking where she had it last went to Manager H. A. Hims of the theater in the hope that it had been kept in the office.

Her hopes were gratified, for the purse had heen found by one of the audience and taken to the office. The
purse contained a sum of money in addition to several valuable trinkets which find recently heen purchased.
