Betty Waddell Shores, age 72, passed away Saturday.
Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her children very much. She was a member of the Baptist faith and worked much of her life as a hairdresser.She was also an active volunteer for the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) as well as many other veterans' organizations.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 30 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Andy Pickens officiating.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Bill Waddell.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans: Chapter 9, 4493 Houston Avenue, Macon, GA 31206.
