#ALBANY -- Linda Vann (Nanny) Mullens, 67, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Saturday May, 11, 2013 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Siniard will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
#A native of Boston, MA, Mrs. Mullens moved to Albany in 1966 from Bainbridge, GA. Miss Linda as she was affectionately known, by the children she kept in her home daycare for many years.
#Survivors include her husband, David R. Mullens of Albany, GA, a son, Jeff Barrett and his wife, Kelly, a daughter, Brenda Purvis and her husband, Kenny, all of Lee County, GA, a sister, Denise Cummings of Albany, GA.and a beloved dog, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her father, George A. Shore and her mother, Lucille M. Giles Shore.
