Bernice Shepperson Garrett, 71, Maple Street, Lebanon, died at 3:10 p.m., Oct. 12, 1993, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
Garrett was born Oct. 31, 1921 in Marion County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy Followay Shepperson, and two grandchildren, Kelly Ann Garrett and William Jefferson Newberry.
Survivors include the husband, Joseph H. Garrett; three sons, Bobby Joe Garrett of Bradfordsville, Larry Douglas Garrett of Revenna, Neb. and Danny Paul Garrett of Lebanon; three daughters, Mrs. Lee "Helen Louise" Klinefelter of Bradfordsville, Mrs. Joseph "Diane" Thompson of Cox's Creek and Mrs. Charles "Brenda Sue" Chapman of Kirkland, Ill.; two sisters, Ursula Garrett of Gravel Switch and Reva Lamb of Mitchellsburg; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Oct. 15, 1993, at Bosley Funeral Home with burial in Rollertown Cemetery Rev. Roy Earl Clark officiated.
Pallbearers were Rick Coulter, Bryan Livers, Michael Livers, Tim Brown, Tommy Smith and Joe Thompson.
Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements.
