Earl M Sheppard, 72, of Eighth Avenue, Parkersburg, died May 28, 1993 in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Pikeville, KY., a son of the late Harrison Ashby and Mae B. Nicewander Sheppard.

He had retired from DuPont after 30 years service and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Lauckport Baptist Church and masonic Lodge 169,
Parkersburg.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Mildred Sheppard; one son, Rodney W Sheppard of Parkersburg; two daughters, Charlotte kay Jones of Huntington and Robin R Maloy of
Parkersburg; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Harry Sheppard of Harrisville, Keith Sheppard of Parkersburg, Donald Sheppard of Waverly, Ohio, Kenneth Sheppard of Clintwood, Va.; and one sister, Shirley Packer of Parkersburg.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Springston.

Services 1 p.m. Tuesday, Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, the Rev. Mark Watkins officiating. Burial Sunset Memory Gardens, with Masonic services and military rites by American Legion Post 15. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday.
