Funeral services were held Friday, November 14, 2003 at 2:00p.m. at the Hickman Strunk Funeral Homes with Bro. Ronald Davis officiating. Burial was in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
She was born December 25, 1936 in Somerset, Kentucky, to Walter and Bertha Barnett Park. Fayrene was a member of the Whitley City First Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and talking on her CB radio and was known as "Chicken Little" to her CB friends.
Preceding her in death were parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Shepherd of Lexington, Kentucky, Jennie Shepherd Estes and her husband, Steve, of Somerset, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Patrick, Victoria and Nicholas Estes, and many close cousins and friends.
