She was born December 3, 1931, in Parsons, to William H. and Daisy B. (Blackburn) Shepard. She grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons schools.
On June 12, 1950 she married Glenn S. Dack, at Girard. They lived in Parsons many years, then briefly in Ottawa, Coffeyville and Cherryvale before returning to Parsons. Mr. Dack preceded her in death on October 3, 2003.
Survivors include one son – Glenn Eugene Dack, address unknown; one grandson – Sonny Dack, of Dallas, TX; two brothers – Lloyd Shepard, of Parsons; Bill Shepard, of Ft. Scott; and one sister – Donna McElroy, of Altamont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Wayne Shepard and Charles Shepard, two sisters, Ruby Walters, Virginia Walters and an infant sister, Erma Shepard.
FUNERAL SERVICES – will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Cherryvale.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday.
