McCLURE - Grace L.S. Auman, 94, formerly of McClure, died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.Born May 27, 1918, in McClure, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Anna M. (Beaver) Shawver.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. Auman Sr., on May 20, 1973.Grace is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Waite and husband, Robert, of Selinsgrove, and Janice Klingler and husband, Kenneth Sr., of McClure; grandchildren, Kay Klingler, of Lewistown, Kimbra Klingler, of Burnham, Kenneth Klinger Jr. and Shawn Klingler, of McClure, Dayne Lash, of Selinsgrove, and Troy Auman and Traci Goodman, of McClure; 10 great- grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.She
is also survived by her sister, Geraldine Brammer, of Menomonee Falls, Wis.She was preceded in death by: her son, Paul Auman Jr.; her daugher, Beth Auman; a granddaughter, Tana Heiser; a brother, Floyd Shawver; and a sister, Pearl Auman.Grace was the salutatorian of the McClure High School Class of 1936She was previously employed at the Beaver Shoe Company.She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in McClure.Grace enjoyed time with her family and
cooking for family and friends, especially baking pies; she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches.Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions in Grace's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
