Georgia McInturff Barnard died Monday at an Oklahoma City Hospital. She was 77.
She was born Nov. 19, 1922, in Shawnee to Garner Shawn and Mollie (Sturdavan) Shawn.
She married Monrow McInturff, and he proceded her in death. She married Otis Barnard in 1970 and he proceded her in death 1976.
She was a lifelong resident of Shawnee, a Baptist, and a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Cleva McInturff, Larry and Evelyn McInturff, Phillip and Diane McInturff, all of Shawnee, ans Steven and C.J. McInturff of Mansfield, Texas: daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Kenneth Gober, ShawneeBarbara Davis, Seminole, Pat Mount, Oklahoma City and Mary and Jerry Hastinggs, Shawnee, and Carol and Robert Hurst, Oklahoma City; brother and sister-in-law, Kacky and Thresa Shawn, Purcell; sister Betty Cox, Tecumseh; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was proceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; two sons, Geral and Charles; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
