Mary Lee Bellows (1920-2011)
SAVOY - Mary Lee Bellows passed away Jan. 15, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian WNJ.
She was born Feb. 12, 1920 in Grayson County near Bells, the daughter of William Victor Sharp and Beatrice Headrick Sharp. Mary married William Eugene Bellows in 1936.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy. Reverend Houston Garner will officiate. Interment will be in Carson Cemetery in Ector.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ooten of Sherman and Shirley Mathis and her husband Ron of Denison; son, Hubert Bellows and his wife Bonnie of Savoy; daughters-in-law, Georgia Bellows of Savoy and Dolores Bellows of Savoy; sisters, Dorothy Stringfellow of Sherman and Fae Jeter of Savoy; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Theodore, Marvin and Roger Bellows.
Mary had resided with her daughter, Barbara Ooten and her recently deceased husband Wayne of Sherman for the past 21 years due to failing health. She loved working in her flowers, her family and the Lord.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
