MOORE, Ruth Grundy Shapard - Long a resident of San Mateo, CA, and native of Gulfport, MS, passed away on October 27, 2004 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her daughter, Martha G. Moore, also of San Mateo; and was the widow of Lucien Victor Moore, Jr., native of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She leaves a host of loving friends. Mother will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She was a member of the Alpha Omicron PI Sorority, The University of California, San Francisco Retirees Association, The San Andreas Lake Chapter of the National Association of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the San Mateo County Genealogical Society. She was an Alumna of Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Mateo, CA. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL, at a future date. Memorial Services will also be held as well.
