Edna Mae Shanks, 95, of Martinsville died at 8:50am Wednesday (Sept. 22, 1993) at the Burnside Nursing Home in Marshall.
The funeral will be at 10am Friday at the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville. Burial will be in the Baird Cemetery.
She was born March 5, 1898, in Martinsville, the daughter of George E. and Lillie Bell Thompson Barr.
Surviving are a son, Clifford Lee Shanks of Martinsville; a daughter, Geraldine Shanks of Terre Haute, Ind.; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by five sisters.
Mrs. Shanks was a member of the Martinsville United Methodist Church.
