Mrs. Lillian Pearl Shackleford Allen, 65, widow of Mr. Willis S. Allen, of 1348 Meyers Street, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 1958, at a local infirmary after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Elliott Sons Chapel with the Rev. J.P. McKinnon officiating. Interment will be in the West View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Humphreys Sr., Thaddeus Johnson, Leonard Luke, Brown Wilson, Ray Neal and James Overstreet. Mrs. Allen was a lifelong resident of Augusta and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Catherine R. Doolittle of Augusta; two nieces, Mrs. Carl Nelson of North Augusta and Mrs. Nivars Sarrach of Augusta; one nephew, Leroy Shackleford of Augusta, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
