John George Senner, 83, Oakdale nursing home, died at 2:30 pm Sunday at St. John's hospital. Mr. Senner was born Dec. 17, 1883. He was a farmer in the Hollis community and moved to Concordia in 1958. He came to Salina a year and four months ago to be with his sons. He was a member of the Lutheran Church at Concordia. Surviving are two sons, Arnold, 836 N. 12th, Salina, and Richard. 433 Purdue, Salina: two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Morgan and Mrs. Edna Crusinberry, both of Wichita; a sister, Mrs. Ella Anderson, Jamestown, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the Lutheran Church in Concordia. Burial will be in the Hollis cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel funeral home in Salina until Tuesday morning and at the Chaput and Son funeral home in Concordia, Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
