She was a member of the Richard the Third Society. She attend Kansas City Junior College, University of Kansas
where she pledged Gamma Phi Beta, and later graduated from Washburn University. She was a well-known Topeka hostess and once entertained the Russian Ballet Theatre when they performed in town.

Relatives: Married to: Jacob Alan Dickinson on October 3, 1931 in Falls City, Nebraska.
