Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for Mrs. Susie Norton Sellers, 88, at Satilla Baptist Church by the Rev. Cecil Thomas Nicholls, the Rev. Elzie Carter and the Rev. Robert Moreland. Mrs. Sellers died at the home of a son, Aaron Sellers, Sunday, after an extended illness.
Survivors are three sons, Aaron, Carver and Isaac Sellers, Baxley; four daughters, Mrs. J. O. Kessler, Mrs. W. H. Vaughn; Mrs. Lee Martin, Baxley; Mrs. H. G. Leggett, Miami, Fla.; 31 grandchildredn, 46 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, B. F. Norton, Baldwin, and J. P Norton, avannah.
Mrs. Sellers' grandsons served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were O. H. Miles, Cephus Crummey, W. H. Morris, G. M. Vaughn, O. L. Mobley, E. S. Cauley, J. H. Bullard, D. M. Boatright, G. L. Lynch, Dr. J. P. Holt and Dr. F. D. Kennedy.
Strickland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery.
