Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Boyd (Bruce) Richard Seely, 69, passed away at his home August 18, 1990.
Born May 15, 1921 in Mt. Pleasant to Richard Bruce and Pauline Hafen Seely. Married Minnie Jo Brown April 25, 1948 in El Paso, Texas; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Attended Mt. Pleasant schools, served in WW II with 204th FABn. Served in the bishopric, Sunday School and High Priest Quorum. Retired from U.S. West after 31 years of service.
Survived by wife, Mt. Pleasant; two sons and two daughters, Richard Wayne, Clearfield; Dean R., Sharon Anne Thompson, and Linda Motuapuaka, all Murray; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Corine Hansen, Midvale; Lizetta Bush, Murray; and Gwen Stewart, Anchorage, Alaska.
Funeral services Wednesday, August 22, 1 p.m., Mt. Pleasant 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Ursenbach Funeral Home, Tuesay, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military honors.
