Mrs. John (Flora) Askren
Mrs. John (Flora Jane Scott Keller) Askren, 78, Route 1, Fairmount, died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, in Marion General Hospital, where she had been a patient two days.
Mrs. Askren was a member of the Oakridge Friends Church and the Fairmount Eastern Star Chapter 277.
Surviving are the husband, John; four sons, Guy Keller, Muncie; Harold Keller, Anderson; Oren Keller, Dublin; and Pete Keller, Fairmount; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Pace, Fairmount; Mrs. Glen Retherford, Elwood; and Mrs. Dale Metzger, Fairmount; 35 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Friends Church. The Rev. Xen Harvey will officiate, assisted by Rev. Harvey Reamy. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at 415 S. Main Street, after 9 a.m. Thursday.

FAIRMOUNT (Special) – The Rev. Xen Harvey, pastor of the Friends Church, will be in charge of the funeral services for Mrs. John Askren, 78 Route 1, Fairmount, at 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Assisting the Rev. Harvey will be the Rev. Harvey Reamy.
