ANDERSON - Ruth M. (Scott) Haseman, 71, Anderson, died August 8, 2011 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
She was born May 7, 1940 in Clay City, Indiana. On July 27, 1963 she married Bernard Haseman and had lived in this area since that time.
Ruth was a housewife.
She is survived by her daughter Diana Rider (Allen) of Daleville; sons Matthew Haseman of Elwood and Curtis Haseman (Deannena) of Anderson; brothers Alvin R. Scott (Sharon) of Oklahoma City, OK and Robert L. Scott (Ruth) of Lyons, IN; grandchildren Justin L. Johnson (Lindsay), Courtney Winkle, Joshlyn Haseman and Deannaya Haseman.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bethany Pointe and their staff, and to Dr. Eddy and his staff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Haseman on March 17, 2009; and her parents Floyd and Edith (Targett) Scott.
Graveside service will be Thursday, August 11 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, with Chaplain Mike Jones officiating, with burial to follow.
