Mrs. Lelia Kathryn Schwyhart, 80, of Bell Nursing Home, formerly of the Kimbolton area, died at 5 p.m. Monday (May 7, 1979) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.

She was born DEc. 3, 1898 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late William B. and Anna McCullough Kennedy. Mrs. Schwyhart was a member of the Kimbolton United Methodist Church and was a retired cafeteria employee of Liberty School. Mrs. Schwyhart was a member of the Liberty Grange and Friendly Neighbors.

She was married to Joseph Ralph Schwyhart who died Dec. 18, 1975.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Roy (Bonnie) Yeich of Mogadore, Mrs. Leonard (Edna Mae) Ackley of Lake Geneva, Wos., Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Barnes of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Charles (Eileen) Gray of Tolleson, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Charles G. (Jennie) Lanning of Cambridge; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. One brother and three sisters are deceased.

Friends may call at Thorn Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Moran officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
