Bernadine graduated from Nursing Training in 1951 and married Matt in 1952. She was a dedicated Navy Submarine wife for over 26 years, raising their six childen while her husband was deployed many times. After retirement, they traveled extensively as Bern visited 114 countries, generating many fond memories. The highlights of many years were the large family gatherings. She gave unselfishly of her love and affection to her all important family and will be greatly missed. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers or donations, please have a glass of wine and toast Bern's wonderful life. Her Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m., on Friday, May 31 from St. Agnes Church at 1140 Evergreen St., Point Loma, San Diego, CA.
