MRS. ANTON KAPFER

Mrs. Anton Kapfer, 99, the former Caroline Scholtz of Chilton, died at Pleasant View Nursing Home in De Pere Thursday where she had been a patient for the last four years and in ill health for the last five years.

Born in the Town of Stockbridge Aug. 20, 1866, she was the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Winkler Scholz.

She married Anton Kapfer at St. Elizabeth's Church at Kloten. He died about 35 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Mother's and the Mission Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton and was also a Gold Star Mother of the Kupsh-Brockmann American Legion Post of Hilbert.

Survivors are two step-children, Mrs. Josephine Drager of Kaukauna and Anton Kapfer Jr., Oshkosh.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home in Chilton and at 10 a,.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, there with the Rev. Henry J. Schmitt as celebrant of the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services.
