Viola J. Keul, age 91, who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.

Viola was born in St. Martin, MN to Leo and Emily (Burg) Schmitz.

She married Marcus Keul on June 8, 1943 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. Viola was a homemaker all of her life. She was a loving person who was loved by many. Viola enjoyed cooking, playing cards, singing, gardening and believed in the power of prayer. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and Christian Women.

Survivors include her children, LaDonna (Jim) Stang, Dave (Rosie Arnold) Keul, Mary Jane (Tom) Jonas, Bobby Keul; sibings, Erwin Schmitz and Eileen Warzecha; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus (2001); sisters, Bernice Gully, Lucille Vossen; brothers, Gilbert, Harold and Werner Schmitz. The cross bearer will be her granddaughter, Pam Houlihan. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Gary Stang, Mark and John Keul, Matt, Jason and Jonathan Jonas.
