Rosemary L. (Schmitt) Brown

Rosemary L. (Schmitt) Brown, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at her Greenwood residence.

She was born Sept. 14, 1916, in Indianapolis. She married Arthur V. Brown on Dec. 22, 1944, in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Gatton of Franklin; a son, Kenneth W. Hayes of Treasure Island, Fla.; two sisters, Emma Quinn of Trafalgar and Lorena Burlieson of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Frank Schmitt.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Father Richard Lawler will conduct a service at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
