Mrs. Carrie Schmidt, 52, passed away at her home, 246 North Carey street, about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, death resulting from acute endocarditis. She was the wife of Richard Schmidt, carpenter, and, with her husband, had resided here about eighteen years. Besides the husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Alice Earlyne, of Scottsbluff, and a son, Floyd, of Little Sioux, Iowa. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Evans funeral home, Monday, at two o'clock, with burial in the Grand Island cemetery.
