Schmidt Infant Dies Shortly After Birth
Funeral services were held on the afternoon of Jan. 31 for Sharon Kay Schmidt, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Schmidt of Columbus, who died the same day, only 45 minutes after she was born in Columbus hospital. She weighed only 4 pounds.
Rev. H. L. Anderson of St. Paul's Lutheran church officiated and arrangements were in charge of Untermeyer Funeral home. Burial was in Odd Fellows Rest cemetery.
