"Louisa" or Louise is what she was known by but her name on her obituary and her death certificate is Eva Louise Heimburger.
Eva Louise & Diebold Adolph Heimburger had five children:
Amelia Elizabeth, Fred Wilhelm, Clara Christina, Eva Louise and Bertha Josephine.
Diebold and Eva Louise settled on Cedar Point after their marriage where Diebold fished for a living before they purchased a farm. When Amelia was born, she was known as the first white person known to be born on Cedar Point (1868).
*Note: Their daughter, Clara Christina (Heimburger) Opfermann, was my grandmother whom I never got to know because she died too young./js
