She was born May 15, 1913 in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Louis and Lillian Hasbrook Schiel.
She married John Kenneth Hill on August 22, 1932 in Arlington, Iowa. He died July 16, 1997.
She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in Waterloo and was a homemaker throughout her adult life. She was an honorary member of Lady Foresters and belonged to the Singer and Organ clubs through the Waterloo Recreation Center.
Survived by: two sons, Kenny (Eileen) Hill of Cedar Falls and Richard (Barb) Hill of Waterloo; five daughters, Mary Margaret Morrison and Janice Conrad, both of Waterloo, Jackie Hill, Kaye Dean and Jeanie Monroe, all of Round Rock, TX; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: five brothers: Francis, John, Joseph, Fred, and Rev. Father Nicholas Schiel; four sisters: Marcella Gerst, Viola Holback, Agnes Nolan and Anna Fenelon; a brother and six sisters in childhood and one grandchild, Denise Marie Hill.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, and also for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
