Martha J. Scheurich, 72, of South Louisville, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was the former Martha Dennis, a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church's Rosary Club and Altar Society, St. James Club 55 and Carlisle Avenue Jolly Elders. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Clara and John Eskridge; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Cindy Scheurich; sister Sylvia Worland; a brother, Clarence H. Dennis Jr.; beloved sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Klusman and Betty Jane Hommrich; four grandchildren; and two-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12-8 p.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Funeral Home. In memory of her courageous battle, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kentucky Cancer Research Foundation.
