Alice M. Bray, 71, Greenfield, died Tuesday at Hancock Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 24, 1917, in Connersville, she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret Faber Schankel. A Hancock County resident most of her life, she was the widow of Curtis Bray. Survivors include daughters, Susan Helsley, Greenfield, and Kathy Brown, Princeton; sister, Mary Weir, Fortville; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, three sisters' and two brothers. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary with the Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
