Katherine McDonald
Katherine Marie McDonald, 71, of 117 Darlington Road, died Friday at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. McDonald was a life resident of Syracuse. She was a communicant of Assumption Church.
Surviving are her husband, George I.; a daughter, Shirley May; a son, George T.; two sisters, Zelma Donaldson and Marion Whelan; three brothers, William Shad of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joseph and Howard; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Carter Funeral Home, and at 9 a.m. in Assumption Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1604 Grand Blvd.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation.
