Frances S. Jarrett was called to heaven by our Savior on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Frances was born and raised in Monticello, FL by her loving parents, Clyde and Genevieve Sauls. Frances graduated from Jefferson County High School and received her B.A. from Florida State Women's College. Frances was a third grade school teacher at Semmes Elementary School in Pensacola, FL for some 20+ years. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Frances enjoyed spending time with her extended family, bridge group and cancer support group.
Frances is survived by her husband of 56 years, Summers Jarrett; sons, Clyde David Jarrett (Jacksonville) and Mark Summers Jarrett (Peachtree City, GA); daughters-in-law, Lydia M. (Beth) Jarrett and Sandra B. Jarrett; six grandchildren; sister, Maryellen M. Higginbothan of Mapleton, GA; and brother, Judge N. Sanders Sauls of Tallahassee, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd. Pensacola, FL 32503 and Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504.
