Jessie and her husband, Eldon "Robbie" Robinson, came to Evansville in 1942 and worked in the war effort at the ammunition plant. She was a member of Keck Avenue Baptist Church for over 60 years. Jessie retired from the traffic department at Whirlpool after 23 years, and she and Eldon went on to be married for more than 60 years before he passed away in 2000.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Knowles (Jerry) and Emma Lee Eberhart (Ronald); 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Rev. Dane Gray with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday, 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
