Ruth Virginia Cauble left this world to be with her soul mate, Andrew D. Cauble, and her two children, Barbara Jean and Toby Raymond.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Malta, Mont., to Jim and Mable Sammons. After Billings High School, she nursed at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Mont. Ruth met Andy of Wichita Falls in 1939. They raised four children in California and moved to Arlington in 1971 where she was director/owner of Raggedy Ruthann and Andy's day care center. She was president of Fort Worth Poetry Society and chairperson of Society of Children's Book Writers of North Central Texas. Ruth realized her lifelong dream of being a published author with "Echoes," a poetry book, and "Medicine Man Magic," a story of an Indian boy in Montana.
Survivors: She leaves behind a son, Andrew D. Cauble II and his wife, Linda; daughter, Margaret Donovan and her husband, Jim, three grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; sister, Hazel Knight; and very dear friend, Ginny Sparks.
