JOHNSON COUNTY — Merrona Salyer Arms, 34, of Hager Hill, formerly of Magoffin County, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at her residence. Born Aug. 5, 1969, in Hammond, Ind., she was a daughter of Diana Arnett Salyer and the late Merritt Salyer. She was a homemaker. Additional survivors include two daughters, Brittany Arms of Hager Hill, and Megan Kimbler of Wittensville; two brothers, William Salyers of Salyersville, and Merritt Salyer of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a sister, Michella Ashley of Crystal Lake, Ill. Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 1, at Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, Salyersville, with Simon Porter officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery, Salyersville, under direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
