DESCRIPTION MAY AID IN SOLVING PERU CASE
Late this afternoon the Peru police believed the body found in the river yesterday is that of Jos. Baricka, a LaSalle man who is said to have been missing for several days.
coroner Donoghue and Undertaker Ptak of Peru are leaving nothing undone in their efforts to identify the body of the man taken from the Illinois river at the foot of Plain street in Peru yesterday noon. The coroner has taken complete description of the clothing and body of the remains and this is being published in hopes that identification may be made. in case the man is buried as "unknown" the description may be of use at some future time whn relative are looking for the missing man.

The inquest will take place tomorrow morning at 8:0 o'clock at the Ptak parlors and in case the identity of the deceased is not learned, burial will be made immediately afterwards.

The body taken from the Illinois river at the I.C. bridge yesterday afternoon was identified at three o'clock by James Mizysak of Oglesby as that of Charles Ryan, who fell from a raft into the Vermillion river Sunday afternoon and was drowned.
Mizysak is a foreman at the Marquette Cement Co., where Ryan was employed, and he also conducts the boarding house, where Ryan lived. The only surviving relative is a brother, who is said to reside in Peoria.

Coroner Donoghue held an inquest this morning at the undertaking rooms and a verdict of accidental drowning was returned. Ryan;s funeral was held this morning from the Walsh & Keeley morgue to St. Vincent's cemetery.
