Anne Ryan Chisholm passed away in the early hours of March 16th 2013. Most recently residing in the Montrose New York State Veterans' Home. Former resident of Putnam and Westchester Counties. Born January 3rd 1926 in New York City. Daughter of Charles Ryan Jr. and Mabel Hutchinson Ryan. Married to Donald Elder Chisholm on December 29th, 1951 at Westchester Country Club in Harrison New York. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald and her brother Charles Ryan III. Anne was a graduate of Scarsdale High School in 1944. She continued her education at William Smith College and Katherine Gibbs School New York. She is survived by four sons and a daughter; Kevin Chisholm - Los Angeles CA, Charles Chisholm - Ballston Lake NY, Peter Chisholm - Mahopac NY, Casey Pascarella - Hopewell Jct NY, David Chisholm - Petaluma CA. Mother-in-law to: Becky Chisholm, Steve Pascarella and Susan Chisholm. Grandmother to Junnifer Chisholm, Ryan Chisholm, Nicole Chisholm, Christopher Chisholm, Kyle Chisholm, Alex Chisholm, Steve Pascarella, Kelly Pascarella, Sam Chisholm, Andrew Chisholm, Nikolas Aizpuru, Annalisa Aizpuru, Annamarie Aizpuru and Alicia Aizpuru. Great-grandmother to: Emilio Chisholm Palacios, Migel Chisholm Palacios, Carmen Chisholm Palacios, Liam Chisholm, Enara Aizpuru. Anne is also survived by her sister-in-laws: Jeanne Lawson Ryan, Mary Chisholm Lynch, Elizabeth Chisholm Thomas, Julie Chisholm and many nieces and nephews.
Anne worked as an administrative assistant at Reader's Digest, International Flavors and Fragrances, and New York Hospital Cornell Medical Unit. Anne was PTA President of St Patrick's grade school in Bedford New York, Cub scout den-mother and Brownie Troop leader many times. Enjoyed flea markets and garage sales where she loved to shop for a good deal. Anne traveled the country to visit children, grand children and great-grand children. She loved being back stage at Santana Concerts and always encouraged other to see the bright side of life and treated others as she wished to be treated. A few of her favorite activities were going to the beach, sponsoring tag sales and volunteering her time to help others.
