Joseph Anthony Rusciano, 59, of Linden, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, N.J. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a memorial Mass on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. directly at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, East Blancke Street, Linden, N.J., followed by inurnment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J. Arrangements are by Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Ave., Linden, N.J. 07036, on the Elizabeth city line (908) 352-9190.
Born in Elizabeth, N.J., Mr. Rusciano lived there for half of his life and then in Linden. He was a business manager for Jardim's Auto Body in Roselle, N.J., for several years. He was very active in raising support for the Aaron Maisto Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph P. and Jeanette (Nadolski) Rusciano, he was the beloved brother of Michael Rusciano and his wife, Karen, and Madeline Straus and her husband, Harvey; loving uncle of Sophia and Olivia Rusciano and Stephanie Straus; also survived by many dear friends, Joseph and Terry Jardim, and co-workers, Mark and Patricia Mannuzza.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Aaron Maisto Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, 503 Grandview St., Middlesex, N.J. 08846 would be appreciated.
