"Lawrence D. (Bud) Royston, 59, owner and operator of Royston's Equipment Co., died Saturday. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Newton. He was born at VanBuren, Ark. and moved to Newton many years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Elk Lodge, and Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his widow, Pauline; a son, Don, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan C. Royston, and two sisters, Louise Becker and Margaret Petre. Draper Funeral Home has charge."
