Mrs. Neil Peak Dies
After Long Illness
Port Huron, Michigan -- Mrs. Eleanor Peak, 76, died at 603 Ontario street Saturday night after a long illness. Mrs. Peak, a resident of Port Huron 40 years, was born in Deckerville Jan. 22, 1876. She and the late Neil Peak were married in 1897. Mr. Peak died Oct. 25, 1937. Mrs. Peak is survived by two sons, William Peak, Melvindale, Michigan, and Frank Peak, Pontiac; two daughters, Mrs. Orville B. Canham and Mrs. Lewis Nutt, both of Port Huron; three brothers, Herbert A. Rowley and Fred Rowley, both of Port Huron, and Elige Rowley, Deckerville; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Pritchard, Brighton, Michigan, and Mrs. Hattie Fuller, Birmingham, Michigan; 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hartley funeral home. Capt. David M. Paton, Salvation Army, will officiate. Burial will be in Downington Cemetery, Deckerville. The remains are in the funeral home.
