PORT HURON -- Ida J. Rowley, 87, 2618 Forest Street died Thursday in Port Huron Hospital after a long illness. She was a resident of Port Huron for 57 years. Mrs. Rowley was born Dec. 6, 1886 in Argyle. She was married to Herbert A. Rowley who died Dec. 7, 1963.

She was a member of Salvation Army Citadel and the Golden Agers. She was also a member of the Ladies Home League of the Army.

She is survived by a son, Charles E. Rowley of Port Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Walter F. Duff and Mrs. Delton C. Davis both of Port Huron; a foster son, William Bacheller, Cortland, New York; one sister, Mrs. Frances Yanna, Bay City; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 p.m. Tuesday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home. Major William D. Stuart of Salvation Army Citadel will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
