Funeral of Mrs. EDBRIDGE BALL, who died in Fort Worth Tuesday morning, was held from the First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. L. POWELL, assisted by Rev. A. B. INGRAM and Rev. A. J. HARRIS, both former pastors of the deceased. … Interment was in Fairview cemetery directed by G. J. Carroll.

Mrs. Elbridge Ball

Mrs. ELBRIDGE BALL died this morning in a sanitarium in Fort Worth. Mrs. Ball was stricken with the malady while visiting her brother, TOM ROWLAND, and family in Forth Worth, then later taken to the sanitarium. She was the former Miss ETHEL ROWLAND, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. ROWLAND of Gainesville. She is also survived by her husband and a son about one year old, and one brother Tom Rowland.

For years she was an organist at the First Baptist Church and took interest in all church work. The remains will be brought here to the home of W. D. Rowland on South Lindsay St. Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church… Active pallbearers: JACK HOWETH, WILL RUE, OVERTON CLARK, CLAIRE WESLEY, ANCIL ROSS and ED THOMPSON.

W. D. ROWLAND went to Fort Worth to the bedside of his daughter, Mrs. ELBRIDGE BALL, who is dangerously ill with pneumonia in a sanitarium there.

ELBRIDGE BALL returned from Fort Worth in hope of finding a nurse to go to Fort Worth to care for his wife who is dangerously ill with pneumonia. Owing to the number of cases of sickness in Fort Worth, there is more work than the local nurses can handle.
