Mrs. Edna S. Bond, 99, of 629 Garfield Ave. NW, Carrollton, died in her home Thursday following a two-year illness. Born in Washington Twp., she was a daughter of the late Leander and Hannah (Ray) Roudebush. She was a life resident of Carroll County and was a member of the First Christian Church of Malvern and the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Her husband, Everett, who she married March 22, 1917, died September 22, 1966.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Robert of Fort Worth, Texas, Edward of Carrollton and Mrs. H. T. (Elta) Hart of Alexandria, Virginia; a sister, Helen Calendine and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A daughter is deceased. Service were held Saturday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home in Carrollton with Rev. Eric S. Crites officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
