Anna Maria (went by Mary) Rothrock was the second of thirteen known children of Johannes Rothrock (1744-1805) and his second wife, Salome Charity Rothrock (1759-1828), who married 05 Nov 1776 at York, York County, Pennsylvania. Johannes had an additional four children by his first wife, Dorothea Gump (1749-1775), who married 01 May 1767 at York County, Pennsylvania. Johannes lived his entire life in York County, Pennsylvania. He was a well-to-do printer, farmer and saddler. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the York Militia in 1777 and later.

Mary married Philippus (did he go by Philip?) Fahs (1777-1845) on 04 Dec 1803 at York, York County, Pennsylvania. Mary and Philippus were the parents of eight known children, namely:

1. beata (un-named female) Fahs (1806-1806)
2. George Fahs (1807-1851)
3. John Jacob Fahs (1809-1871)
4. Thomas Fahs (1810-1850)
5. Israel Fahs (1812-1812)
6. Philip Henry Fahs (1813-1903)
7. David Fahs (1817-1817)
8. stillborn Fahs (1820-1820)

In 1850 the widow Mary was living with her son Philip Henry Fahs at Dover Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It is assumed that Mary died between 1850 and 1860 in presumably Pennsylvania.

Links to Mary's parents, husband, two of her eight known children and nine of her sixteen known siblings and half-siblings are included below.
