Ross, Edward Allen of the Southside of Chicago passed away on September 29th.
Mr. Ross was an avid painter, artist and creative mind. Ed's drawings have been displayed at DuSable Museum, Veteran's Art Exhibit, Gold Coast Art Fair plus various other exhibits. Ed's preferred medium was the ball point pen. Many people today continue to wear creative jewelry designed by Ed.
Edward Ross served his country well in the US Navy until August, 1963. Ed spent his career as an electrician working with many companies from IBM to Union Pacific Railroad. He was an amusing individual full of laughter and jokes for all who came in contact with him. However he always took to the serious route when helping others try to achieve their goals or teach his knowledge of art.
Ed loved his sister Linda Boasmond (Eric) and his aunt Lillian Cunningham (Harvey) plus many other family members and friends.
Inurnment is at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
A Remembrance Celebration will be held in the future.
